Felix is the founder of Independent Channel Advisors. He began his career in 1988 at Shearson Lehman Brothers and created Independent Channel Advisors in 2011. He spent 16 years with Smith Barney and its predecessor firms in a variety of different roles and led the launch of the Private Client Monitor which delivered performance reporting for all 5.5 million retail accounts.

Prior to forming ICA Felix was the Chief Operating Officer for Biondo Investment Advisors, LLC. His responsibilities included management of the day-to-day operations, compliance, finance, administration, and trading. While at Biondo Investment Advisors Felix launched two mutual funds and sat as a Trustee Board Member of the Ralph Parks Cyclical Equity Fund. 

As Chief Technology Officer for the Portfolio Management Group from 2002 to 2004, Felix led the team responsible for $30 billion in AUM.
