An application can have one of the following status:

The changes were rejected.

Pending
Changes were submitted and are under review.

Changes were made and saved, but not submitted. You need to go to the edit screen and click the Submit button to submit the changes.
How Do I Update My Integration Data?
Users will be able edit the data for a product’s integrations.

From the Application List Screen, click on the name of an application to open the View\Edit Screen (sample screens shown).

From the View\Edit Screen, click the Edit Application button.

Edit\update any data.

Add any new integrations in question 4 by typing directly into the application box. The system will search as you type and display the application names for you to select from.

For each application integration, select the integration level (1 to 5): 1 - Single Sign On 2 - Ability to Access Functionality 3 - One Direction Data Transfer 4 - Bi-Directional Data Transfer 5 - Bi-Directional Data Transfer PLUS one or more additional actions. Selecting this level requires entering an explanation of why a 5 score is appropriate, which will be reviewed by Ezra Group.

If there is one or more applications you are integrated with that are not in the list, use the Additional Integrations question to add them.

Update the API and Tools questions. All of these questions are mandatory, but some can be answered No.

When you are finished with your updates, click the Submit button to send them for review.

All updates must be approved by an Ezra Group administrator. Once they are approved, your product’s score will be updated on our website and you will receive a confirmation email.

How do you rate the individual integrations?
Here are the definitions of the individual integration ratings:
- Single Sign On – After having signed on to the application being scored, it is possible to sign on to the other application with a single “click”. The login information is transferred from the scored app to the integrated app without the need to provide additional credentials. However, the two applications do not share or transfer data. This is the most common “integration” (in part because it is easy to implement).
- Ability to perform one or more functions from either of the applications while “inside” the other. Typically allows for creation/viewing of reports or iframes. Data is not transferred between the two applications.
- Transfer of (some) data from either application. The assumption is that the integrator will have determined which direction the data should move based upon the categories of the applications they are integrating with. For example, since CRMs are usually the golden source for contact data, this information should into other applications like financial planning, digital marketing, etc. Similarly, the score generated by risk tolerance applications should flow out and into CRM, financial planning, etc.
- Transfer of (some) data both to and from the applications (aka bidirectional sync). For example some client data entered into a CRM can be transferred to a financial planning app, which could also send data back into the CRM. Bidirectional transfers are almost always implemented via GET and POST API calls.
- This is the highest level of integration and means that not only is data transferred to and from the applications, but that the receiving application does something more than just store or display the data. For example, it might automatically kick off a workflow process, or display it in a manner that is unique to this integration. Typically to achieve a 5 rating both the app vendor and the vendor of the app being integrated have to spend development resources in what is often a ‘partner’ relationship. Striving to make every integration a “Level 5” is likely not an effective use of development resources.
